The Distress Centre Durham Adolescent Suicide Awareness Program is available free of charge and is delivered by specially trained staff and volunteers, during a class period to the class or classes selected by each secondary school. A teacher "Amy" from J. Clarke Richardson Collegiate writes in her evaluation of the presentation... "This was my first time seeing the presentation - so I was unsure what to expect - I was pleasantly surprised! A very well organized presentation - great interaction with students & use of visual aids. I am pleased to have experts to touch on this very important topic with our students. The presentation fits in very well with the Adolescence section of our course. I hope to incorporate this presentation into our unit again".
